That was the opening line of our Coliving Awards application — and now, a few months later, Toboggan Flats just won Emerging Coliving Concept at the Global Coliving Awards 2025!
Robert said it best in his video from the awards: “We’re not just building housing — we’re reimagining how young Canadians can live, work, and belong downtown again.”
Our idea of transforming empty office buildings into affordable, community-driven homes struck a chord with judges around the world. It’s a proud moment for us — and for Canada — to see coliving through our own northern lens getting global recognition.
