And here’s the thing: it’s way more than a panel. It’s a coast-to-coast remix of the housing conversation—packed with real talk, wild ideas and future-ready solutions.

We’re talking planners, architects, advocates, engineers, and real estate folks. The kind of people who roll up their sleeves and say, “What if we made downtown living joyful, connected and actually affordable?”

Here’s who’s pulling up:

✨ Paul Bedford — Former Chief Planner for Toronto and one of the original city-builders behind the King-Spadina revival. Worked with Jane Jacobs. Still shaping the city through mentorship and design panels. A true urban whisperer.

✨ Mackenzie Vaughan-Graham (Arcalogix) — Head of Product at Arcalogix with a background in industrial design and 3D visualization. Mackenzie’s spent years turning complex ideas into user-friendly tools.

✨ Karen Cvornyek (Arcalogix) — Architect, global design leader and now a PropTech pioneer. Karen’s teaming up with Arcalogix to bring AI into real-time space planning and leasing—faster decisions, smarter designs.

✨ James McEwen (BPA) — Engineering brain behind some of Canada’s most resilient, sustainable buildings. BPA is all about designing spaces that work better for people and for the planet. (June 5th)

✨ Steve Orchard (BPA) — Net-zero expert and mechanical systems wizard. Steve’s been making buildings greener and smarter for over 20 years— and mentoring the next generation while he’s at it. (June 10th)

✨ Matthew Stesco (Cushman & Wakefield) — Commercial real estate advisor who gets what tenants actually want. He brings the big-picture view on how downtown real estate is shifting—and where it needs to go next.

✨ Michael Jodah (HOUSE Canada) — Co-founder, community builder, housing advocate. Michael has lived housing precarity firsthand—and now leads HOUSE, a student-driven nonprofit turning social finance into affordable homes for students and young adults.

✨ Daneeka Abon (UWCRC 2.0) — Project manager who brings heart to the hard hats. Daneeka’s work with UWCRC 2.0 focuses on people-first development in Winnipeg—mixing affordability, sustainability and culture into every build.

Robert Barnard, Toboggan Flats co-founder, will be your moderator.

You’ll get an inside look at how these leaders are helping us flip the post-pandemic office crisis into something way better: vibrant, shared homes for a new generation of city dwellers.

And remember:

Community housing providers who register will be among the first to see a live demo of our innovative community coliving development Pre-Assessment Tool!
